John Lovick wants to replace Aaron Reardon

Received the following press release a few minutes ago from Snohomish County Sheriff John Lovick:

After careful consideration and consultation with family and colleagues, I have decided to seek appointment to the position of Snohomish County Executive. It has been an honor to serve as Snohomish County Sheriff the past five years. During this time I have been truly fortunate to work alongside the dedicated Snohomish County employees who share my commitment to public service. It has reinforced what I have known for decades: Snohomish County is a fine place to call home, build a career and raise a family. I look forward to the opportunity to be considered for appointment to this office, and to continue serving Snohomish County with integrity and pride. Respectfully, John Lovick Mill Creek.
