SHAKAROO Update – 1/3 of Friday’s Adoption Dogs Already Have New Homes

Thanks to SHAKAROO, Cappy has a new home. Click the picture to see more adoptable animals.

Not only was SHAKAROO a success Friday night but things have been busy at the Everett Animal Shelter today. I checked in with Dee Cordell at the Everett Animal Shelter who reports that Daisy, Gus Gus, Cappy, Hyde, Annie, Garth and Sonny have all found new homes today after being seen at SHAKAROO last night. In addition, many other dogs both from the show and those who didn’t make it to the theatre are also finding new owners today. Shelter staff are still trying to gather all the statistics from last night but a lot of money was raised along with a healthy amount of exposure for the Everett Animal Shelter and its programs. You can follow the latest events at the shelter from their Facebook page and can see which animals are available for adoption by clicking here.

Editor’s Note: MyEverettNews.com was thrilled to be one of the media sponsors for SHAKAROO and I enjoyed being the emcee for the event. Can’t wait for next year. LD
