Fire causes $15,000 damage

Everett Fire crews made quick work of a blaze Saturday afternoon on 4th Avenue West. Everett Fire Marshal Rick Robinson provides the details…

Everett Fire Department crews responded to a report of a fire in the back room of an auto repair shop in the 10100 block of 4th Avenue West at 4:58 p.m. this evening. Arriving crews found fire coming from a leak in a propane tank inside the building and extinguished the fire and removed the propane tanks from the building. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Damage to the shop is estimated at $15,000. No one was injured during the incident. An update on the cause of the fire will be released after the weekend.
