No Sounder Train Service From Everett for Sunday’s Seahawks Game

Mudslides still causing interruptions for Sounder train service

Once again the train will not be running between Everett and Seattle. The threat of mudslides has led Sound Transit to cancel the Sunday train from Everett to Sunday’s Seahawks game. Sounder holiday service previously scheduled to operate Christmas Eve is also canceled. There have been multiple mudslides on the rail line between Everett and Mukilteo since last Monday. Sounder Northline train service to the Seahawks’ game against the San Francisco 49ers this Sunday is cancelled due to the risk of additional mudslides. Sounder holiday service previously scheduled to operate Christmas Eve is also canceled.

If no other slide activity occurs, Northline Sounder service is expected to resume on Wednesday, Dec. 26.

Everett-Seattle: Board regularly scheduled ST Express Route 512 at Everett Station bay C1. Seattle-Everett: Board regularly scheduled ST Express Route 512 at 4th Ave. S and S. Jackson St.

No bus service available from/to Mukilteo or Edmonds

Monday, December 24 bus alternatives:

Everett-Seattle: Board regularly scheduled ST Express Route 510 at Everett Station bay C1. Seattle-Everett: Board regularly scheduled ST Express Route 510 at 4th Ave. S and S. Jackson St.

No commuter bus service available between Seattle to/from Mukilteo or Edmonds

*Southline Sounder service between Seattle and Lakewood is not impacted and will operate as scheduled
