As the 15 year-old walked southbound on 19th Ave SE, a male walking northbound passed her. The girl kept walking but had an urge to look back. As she turned, she saw the male reaching to grab her arm. The girl jumped back and was scared. She ran across the road with the male attempting to follow but he was unable due to traffic. The girl said she looked at the male who was staring at her before she ran southbound. The male was last seen running southbound, but kept going when the girl turned onto a side road towards home.
The girl was not injured and called her parents while running home. The family called 911 and officers searched the area with a K-9, but did not locate the male.
The male is described as white, 40-50 years of age, 5’6”, husky build with short white hair and a beard. He was wearing a blue baseball hat, a dark blue t-shirt and light blue jeans.
