3 hopefuls will be interviewed on Dec. 27th

The City of Everett has released the names of the three people who will be interviewed next week for an upcoming opening on the Everett City Council. Six people initially applied and now the list of candidates is down to three. Everett’s director of public information, Kate Reardon, sets out what happens next…

City Council members have made their selection of the candidate they wish interviewed to fill position number 3, which will become vacant Jan. 1, 2013 due to the resignation of Arlan Hatloe. All 6 applicants were contacted and 3 were notified they would be interviewed December 27, 2012 at 12:30 during the regular schedule council meeting. They are in no particular order:

Scott Murphy

June Robinson

Pete Kinch

These candidates will be on the beginning of the agenda of December 27, 2012 at 12:30. They will be brought in to the chambers for council members to interview one at a time. At the conclusion of the interviews, candidates may stay if they wish however they will not be required to. January 2, 2012 the council will vote on the selection to fill position 3. Council member Hatloe’s last day is December 31, 2012.
