The annual Fallen Officers Food Drive is a commemorating event started by the Lakewood Police Department in 2010 to honor the memory of their four officers who were killed in the line of duty on November 29, 2009. The Food Drive has grown to honor all officers who died in the line of duty and is a way for law enforcement to give back to their communities.
In Snohomish and Skagit County, the Food Drive occurs during the week of November 26th – 29th. To help support this event, the public is welcome to dro
p off food and/or cash donations at the agencies and community partners listed below, during normal business hours.
The Fallen Officers Food Drive donations will go to local food networks who serve those in need. In Snohomish County, agencies partnered with Volunteers of America (VOA) while Skagit County agencies joined with the Skagit County Community Action organization.
