2012 Festival of Trees Next Week in Everett

2012 Festival of Trees

If event tickets are sold out, there’s still the community open house set for Wednesday the 28th.

One of the largest social events on Everett’s calendar happens next Tuesday – Saturday. The annual Festival of Trees benefits Children’s Services at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. Central to Providence Children’s Services is the Children’s Center, serving more than 350 children and their families every week. The Children’s Center provides quality care to children born with medical conditions or those who face challenges stemming from illness or injury, regardless of their families’ ability to pay. Funds from Festival of Trees also benefit Camp Prov. Camp Prov is weeklong, summer day-camp for children who receive early intervention or special services at the Children’s Center. Due to their medical conditions or developmental delays, these kids are not able to attend other typical summer camps. Camp Prov gives children a chance to have a fun summer camp experience while also participating in learning and therapeutic activities.

Last year’s Festival of Trees raised more than $600,000.00 and was attended by more than 4000 people. Click here for more information.
