Bader Leading Robinson in Everett Council Race to Fill Nielsen’s Seat – 5:00am Update

Update 5:00am: With the latest returns in for day one of the vote count, Bader continues to lead Robinson 52% to 47%. New vote totals will be released this afternoon at 5:00pm

With the first election returns in, Scott Bader is leading June Robinson 7312 votes to 6725 in the race for position 5 on the Everett City Council. They are running to take over the seat that opened when Everett City Councilman Drew Nielsen passed away in a rafting accident in May of this year. Gigi Burke was appointed to fill the seat until the election is certified. She did not run for the position permanently. These are only initial returns, (40%) with more votes to be reported tonight and tomorrow. Click here for the latest returns from the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office.
