The Everett Police Department is investigating a fatal collision between three vehicles in Everett on Evergreen Way.
At 6:00 p.m. on October 30, 2012, officers responded to the report of a vehicle collision in the 7800 block of Evergreen Way. Upon arrival, they found two vehicles had been involved in a serious collision. Initial reports indicated a black BMW had been driving erratically southbound on Evergreen Way at a high-speed when it clipped another southbound vehicle. The BMW spun and went into oncoming traffic where a northbound minivan collided with it.
A juvenile passenger in the BMW died at the scene. The drivers of the two vehicles involved in the collision were transported to Providence Medical Center – Colby Campus for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries. At this time there is no update on either driver’s status.
Detectives were called to the scene to investigate the cause of the collision. It is unknown if alcohol, drugs or health concerns played a part in the incident.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office responded to the scene and took custody of the body. The Medical Examiner’s Office will identify the deceased and determine the official cause of death.
Both northbound and southbound Evergreen Way were closed for almost two hours to investigate the scene and clear the vehicles. At this time the roadway is open in both directions.

Hope the jerk in the BMW serves actual time in prison for killing that child!
Sounds like he was the father to the victim who’s life he stole by an act of complete disregard for anyone else.
Prayers for the child, that is heartbreaking, hope this jerk never drives again.
Driving insanely and erratically should carry the same penalties as shooting a gun off in a crowded area multiple times. It IS intent to kill, and it should be prosecuted as such. So tired of these monsters that get away with murder only because the weapon is a car!
It is not an “accident” to drive crazy, it is a psychopathic disregard for other’s lives!

Dear “Anonymous”,
Our hearts and prayers go out to your “cousin” Josiah.
His life thoughtlessly stolen by his own father.
We are speaking out on his behalf, and others impacted by dangerous, homicidal drivers.
We have that right because we have to share the roads with morons who have no regard for others lives. You have no right to silence the outrage from this tragic death, the one responsible should be in jail.
