Everett Senior Mobile Home Park Among Those Targeted By Late Night Burglars

October 22, 2012

Everett, Police Blotter

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office released pictures today of a person of interest in more than two dozen burglaries of Senior Mobile Home Parks in south Everett and Lynnwood. Among the parks is Lago de Plata at 7th SE and 112th near Silver Lake. Here’s the release from SCSO…

The male is described as around 6 feet tall, approx. 180 lbs and was last seen at the 16800 block of Highway 99 in Lynnwood around 3 AM on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012 wearing a black or dark blue hoodie with orange writing and grey sweats.

Investigators believe a series of burglaries in five different S. Snohomish County mobile home parks over the past few weeks may be related. At least 25 mobile home units have reported being broken into at adult (55 or older) park complexes. The parks include Carriage Club Estates, Lynnwood Heights, Wandering Creek, Lago de Plata Villa and Mariner Village. In most cases, the burglar has entered the residence at night through a window, often unscrewing porch lights or interior lamp bulbs. Items stolen include jewelry, cash and electronics.

Law enforcement agencies have been working directly with park residents on securing their homes and Neighborhood Watch groups in the parks have been mobilized.

Anyone with information about the identity of this individual is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office Tip line at 425-388-3845.
