Everett Police Seeking 2 Armed Robbers
Everett Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying and apprehending two men involved in a recent armed robbery.
Just after 10:45 p.m. on August 29th, 2012, two masked men carrying knives entered the Shell gas station at 5001 Evergreen Way and walked directly to the counter where they demanded money from the employee. When the employee gave them $24 in cash, they demand cigarettes. After the employee handed the robbers two cartons of cigarettes, they walk out of the store. Officers quickly arrived in the area and a K-9 track was conducted, but the suspects had fled.
Both males carried knives and waved them at the employee to emphasize their demands. The knives were reported to have black handles with 4-5” blades.
The first suspect is described as a white male, mid-20’s, and approximately 6’ tall. He wore a black jacket with a small white logo on the front and jeans with a red knit hat, a red mask over his face and dark colored gloves and shoes.
The second suspect is described as a white male, mid-20’s, and approximately 6’ tall. He wore a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, jeans, with a green hat and dark colored gloves and shoes. The man wore a black bandana over his face.
