As officers arrived they discovered a 29-year-old Everett woman had been struck by a SUV traveling southbound on Evergreen Way as she stepped into the crosswalk.
The driver of the SUV, a 29-year-old Everett man, remained at the scene and also called 911 to summon aid. The woman suffered serious injuries to her shoulder, chest and legs and was transported to Providence Medical Center – Colby Campus. It is believed that while severe, her injuries are non-life threatening.
