Red Cross Helping 7 Displaced After Duplex Fire in Everett This Morning

7 people were displaced and damage was estimated at $300,000.00 after a duplex fire on 63rd street just south of the Everett Golf and Country Club. According to Everett Fire Marshal Rick Robinson, the fire was reported around 7:45. As the first engines arrived they found the residents outside and heavy smoke and flame coming from the duplex. 4 adults and 3 kids were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center for evaluation but there did not appear to be any major injuries. No word yet on the cause.
