Forget the ice, this weekend it’s all about the dirt in Comcast Arena at Everett

The dirt is going down over the ice and soon bulls and those who hope to ride them take over Comcast Arena at Everett. The Lucas Oil Touring Pro Division, featuring some of the top bull riders from Washington, Oregon and around the country, will compete at Comcast Arena at Everett Friday and Saturday with shows starting at 7:30pm each night. One of the competitors, Cord McCoy flew out directly from his home in Oklahoma to compete in the event. “This can make or break a bull rider’s chances to reach the finals in Las Vegas this fall”, said McCoy. He spent most of today doing media interviews and I had a chance to ask him about the difference between a cowboy and a bull rider. “It used to be that all bull riders were also cowboys but with the surge in popularity of the sport and the added money, there are now bull riders who’ve never even been on a horse.”

Tickets are still available through the Comcast Arena at Everett box office or at the door.
