Senior Farmer’s Market Food Vouchers to be Distributed Sunday at Everett Farmer’s Market

Senior’s (60+) who live in households considered low-income are likely eligible for food vouchers good for 40 dollars work of fresh foods at area farmer’s markets. This Sunday (July 8th) vouchers will be available at the Everett Farmer’s Market on the Everett waterfront. The vouchers will be available between 11am and 3pm. Low income older adults may apply for $40 in checks redeemable at authorized farmers markets in Snohomish County. Checks may be used to purchase locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables.
Eligibility requirements include: age 60 or older (55+ if Native American), Snohomish County residency, and income lower than $1,722 per month for a one-person household or $2,333 for a two-person household.
Checks will be distributed at the following locations on a first come, first serve basis.
Photo ID is required, long lines are expected and a wait of up to two hours is possible.
