Low income older adults may apply for $40 in checks redeemable at authorized farmers markets in Snohomish County. Checks may be used to purchase locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables.
Eligibility requirements include: age 60 or older (55+ if Native American), Snohomish County residency, and income lower than $1,722 per month for a one-person household or $2,333 for a two-person household.
Checks will be distributed at the following locations on a first come, first serve basis.
Photo ID is required, long lines are expected and a wait of up to two hours is possible.
