On July 6, 2012, at about 4:00 p.m., a vehicle traveling eastbound on 112th St. SE struck a bicyclist riding in the marked bicycle lane. The bicyclist suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

While responding to the scene, an ambulance making a U-turn was struck by a passenger car driving westbound on 112th St. SE. The two female occupants of the car and the ambulance driver all suffered minor injuries and were taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

All traffic on 112th St SE was stopped for about an hour while the two collisions were investigated.
