Dozen + Everett Cops Bust Mini-Mart Smash and Grab Burglary Suspects

More than a dozen Everett police officers on the balcony at the Lakeside apartments Tuesday morning.

The residents of the Lakeside apartments on 75th Street in central Everett awoke to find more than a dozen Everett Police Officers rounding up suspects after a mini-mart burglary early Tuesday morning. According to Everett Police Public Information Officer Aaron Snell, a mini-mart in the 6900 block of Broadway was rammed with a vehicle and suspects made off with various items from the store early Tuesday morning. Patrol officers were able to track the suspects to an apartment at the Lakeside complex on 75th street. Officers from day shift joined the night shift crew there shortly after 6:00am and removed at least half a dozen from the apartment. There was at least one arrest and five people were placed in handcuffs and put in separate police cars outside the complex. Detectives are now investigating and more arrests could happen.
