Truck Hits Pole, Snarls Traffic in Eastmont Neighborhood of South Everett

It may have been a medical condition, as Everett Police are still investigating, after a pickup truck snapped off a light pole and crashed into a truck carrying propane early Wednesday afternoon. The accident happened in front of a Shell station at Burley Drive and 19th avenue SE. Because a power line was down police had to shut down the roadway until PUD crews could make the line safe. The driver of the truck was taken to an Everett hospital by medic units.
