The Historic Flight at Kilo-7 on the Mukilteo Speedway side of Everett’s Paine Field is offering several opportunities for Dad’s to go up in historic aircraft this weekend. The Collings Foundation is visiting Historic Flight Foundation with its B-24, B-17 and P-51C. In a coordinated flying program, HFF also will offer rides in its B-25, F7F and T-6 such that six aircraft will be active during this weekend. Between sorties, all of the aircraft will be open for inspection. Bring your camera. To reserve a flight, contact Visitor Services. The Collings aircraft plan to fly between 9:00am and 5:00pm.
Historic Flight Foundation will demonstrate the flight capabilities of its B-25, “Grumpy,” on Fathers’ Day, June 17th, at 1 p.m. This will be the lead-off flight of the afternoon show. Following the demonstration, “Grumpy” will return to Paine Field to offer flight experiences with the visiting aircraft from the Collings Foundation.
