Arlington’s Loss is Everett’s Gain as Petite Sweet Bakery and Cafe Opens at Old Pave’ Location in Downtown Everett

A smaller location and more foot traffic led to the decision to move Petite Sweet Bakery from Arlington to Everett. Open for just two days, customers are already flocking into the former location of Pave’ at 2613 Colby in downtown Everett. (Financial issues reportedly caused Pave’ to close back in December) Petite Sweet began in Arlington in 2010 and owner Sherie Rzeczkowski says she’s excited to have people in Everett sample her hard work. “I’ve been baking all my life,” said Rzeczkowski. “I’ve always loved it.” I only had 30 seconds to talk to her as she was busy checking on customers and working in the bakery. Just opened Wednesday, they’re still setting up and finishing the final touches. Petite Sweet operates from 7:00am – 4:00pm weekdays and 7:00pm – 3:00pm on Saturdays.
