Crontrolled Colby Cruise Today from 1pm - 5:30pm
The Seattle Rod-Tiques say rain or shine, today’s Cruise up and down Colby Avenue in downtown Everett will happen. The cruise is limited to only those who have pre-registered. You can’t just show up and drive the route. You can however see some great cars and relive some old memories. You’ll also eat well as many downtown Everett restaurants are open with special offers for participants and spectators alike. The cruzin’ starts at 1:00pm this afternoon and goes until 5:30pm, followed by a dance at the Holiday Inn at Pacific and I-5 from 6:00pm until 10:00pm. The dance is open to everyone and costs just $5.00. Tomorrow’s Show ‘N Shine in the streets of downtown Everett starts at 8:00 am and runs until 3:00pm with live music by the Wright Brothers Band and Danny Vernon’s Illusions of Elvis. There is an awards ceremony from 3:00pm – 4:00pm. This is the thirteenth year the Seattle Rod-Tiques have sponsored the event. Click here to find out how you can be affiliated with the club.
