Seattle International Film Festival Comes to Everett Thursday

Lola Versus kicks off the Everett portion of SIFF on Thursday night at the Everett Performing Arts Center

The Everett portion of the Seattle International Film Festival kicks off Thursday night at the Everett Performing Arts Center. The opening night gala starts at 7:00pm and the featured film is Lola Versus. This anti-romantic comedy tells the tale of Lola, a 29-year-old woman unwittingly dumped three weeks before her wedding sending her on a series of desperate encounters with her two best friends in an attempt to find her place in the world. Everett’s supporting role in SIFF has grown over the recent past and this year there are 22 films set to be shown in Everett during the run of the festival.
