Remembrance For Everett Councilman Drew Nielsen Today at Everett Station

A public memorial service is set for this afternoon from noon to 2 p.m. in the Weyerhaeuser Room at The Everett Station, 3201 Smith Avenue, Everett. Nielsen was killed in a rafting accident Saturday May 12th on the Green River. A lawyer who graduated from Everett High School, Nielsen was in his third term on the Everett City Council. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Drew Nielsen Benevolent Fund, at BECU, PO Box 97050, Seattle, WA 98124-9750, for the advancement of arts and community development causes Drew held dear.
