Everett Mayor Asks For City Flags to be Lowered to Honor Councilman Drew Nielsen

The following statement is from Everett Mayor Ray Stephanson regarding the tragic passing of City Council Member Drew Nielsen. The King County Medical Examiner released information this afternoon identifying Council Member Nielsen as the rafter involved in the Green River accident on Saturday:

“I am shocked and saddened to hear about Drew,” Everett Mayor Ray Stephanson said. “My condolences go out to the family for their tragic loss.”

Mayor Stephanson has asked that flags at City of Everett facilities be lowered in recognition of Council Member Nielsen.
