Catch a fish at the annual Kids Fish-In at Silver Lake, Thornton A. Sullivan Park, 11405 W. Silver Lake Road. Children ages 5-14 can learn from enthusiastic experts from 7:45 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 12.
Choose from eight 45-minute instruction sessions. Then practice together and enjoy the park. Bring your own fishing gear if you have it. Some fishing gear may be available to borrow.
To register, call Everett Parks and Recreation at 425-257-8300, ext. 2. Registration fee is $7 per child. If spaces remain, day-of-event fee is $10.
Hey Boaters this one’s for you…Navigate your way to lakeside fun Saturday, May 12 9:00am – 3:00pm for the annual Boat Expo.
Try boarding a row-boat, sail boat, kayak, canoe or outrigger canoe. Discover local boating clubs and classes.
The event is free except for kayak rides which are $10 for an individual or family.
