The five liquor store licenses within Everett's city limits brought $871,500.00

The bid results for licenses for the liquor stores that the State of Washington is giving up after the passage of I-1183 last fall have been released. Here are the numbers for the stores in Everett.

Store 193 at 2027 Broadway – final bid: $251,100.00

Store 125 at 3332 Cedar – final bid: $55,100.00

Store 127 at 1203 SE Everett Mall Way – final bid: $65,100.00

Store 75 at 52nd and Evergreen (Claremont) – final bid: $100,100.00

Store 116 at 112th and 19th Ave. SE (Silver Lake) – final bid: $400,100.00

The total amount combined for the five Everett licenses totalled $871,500.00

Now the prospective owners weren’t bidding on the store, just the right to operate the store at its current location. They still have to negotiate a lease with the location’s landlord as well as buy inventory, shelving, etc. They’ll also have to face the competition from all of the grocery stores and Costco
