Angie Pascoal just won a $2500 scholarship to Everest College Everett campus

EVERETT, Wash. – Angela Pascoal, a recent graduate of Everest College – Everett, has been selected as the college’s 2011 Dream Award winner, the school announced today.

Pascoal earned a certificate after completing the pharmacy technician program at Everest College – Everett. Her upbeat persona, positive outlook on life, and tenacious drive to succeed led to the annual award, which recognizes graduates who have improved their lives through education. As a Dream Award winner, Pascoal will receive a $2,500 Everest College scholarship to pursue an advanced program in her field of study.

As a young mother of four, Pascoal was initially trained as a professional chef. When her salary wasn’t as she had hoped, she decided to change careers and go back to school to pursue her interest in becoming a certified pharmacy technician. Pascoal also volunteers in a variety of organizations, including youth programs, Girl Scouts, and the Gleaning Association.

“Angi brought a lot of joy, positivity, and inspiration to those who became acquainted with her at Everest College,” said Meredyth Given, president of Everest College – Everett. “Despite the hardships she endured during her time at Everest, she never gave up, and never wiped the smile from her face.”
