Madison Elementary School in Everett, WA has been working for nearly a year to earn money to build a new playground. The current playground was last remodeled 20 years ago and is suffering from vandalism and needs to be replaced. The new playground will be built in memory of Val Dede, a teacher at Madison Elementary for 24 years and in the Everett School District for 42 years. Dede passed away just three days after school ended last June. As a final fundraiser, supporters are holding a raffle thru next Thursday, March 29th, to meet their financial goal. There are 76 different items in the raffle and anyone  is welcome to bid. Here’s a link to see all of the auction items. Please bid early and often.
