Everett Transient Critically Injured by Deliberately Stepping in Front of Jeep
You can see the cracked windshield where the man hit the car
Everett Police traffic investigators say they don’t think there is anything the driver could have done after a transient apparently deliberately stepped in front of a Jeep Cherokee tonight around 6:30pm. A woman was going westbound near the Lowe’s on Pacific just past Fulton when, according to multiple witnesses, a man deliberately stepped right into the woman’s path. He hit the windshield and was then thrown to the cement. He received multiple head injuries and was taken by Medic one to Harborview. Police say witnesses have seen the man in that neighborhood recently and he appeared to be a transient. The woman who drove the Jeep was shaken up but not hurt. Everett Police say they do not expect to file any charges against her.
