The U.S. Coast Guard sent out this photo today. It seems on Saturday a dry dock containing the 140-foot tug Invader began sinking causing the tug to capsize with an estimated 50,000-60,000 gallons of diesel on board. The dock is at the Vigor shipyard on the Everett waterfront. The Coast Guard and Dept. of Ecology have responded to the incident and are currently monitoring the salvage operation. An oil containment boom has been put around the dock and tug to try to contain any diesel spill.
