Happy Birthday to Us…My Everett News is One Year Old!

January 31, 2012

My Everett News has more than 10,000 unique visitors per month!

Editor’s Note: I started MyEverettNews.com last January as a way to provide people with a view of Everett that they might not get from other media sources. It’s been a fantastic experience and I’m thrilled to report that in our first year we’ve had more than 250,000 page views. Compared to other media, that’s just a drop in the bucket but for a one-man-band, I’ll take it. In 2012 I hope to continue to evolve, learn and grow in the world of hyper-local publishing and want you to know that I’m always looking for suggestions and ideas. A quick shout out to Bob Payne and the staff of The Seattle Times who’ve been such a great news partner. Another to Jake Whittenberg and the folks at KING 5 News who have been so unselfish in linking to stories and providing photos and assistance.

As the old saying goes…if you like what we’re doing, tell a friend. If you don’t, tell me.
