The Snohomish County PUD says the number of customers without power has been climbing. According to Mike Thorne, the total number of outages is now 11,500. It was 5100 at mid morning. Just got this in from Snohomish County… Due to severe ice and dangerous road conditions, Snohomish County offices including Courts will be closed today (Thursday) until 1 p.m. Our response to roads has not changed. We still have about 40 trucks on the roads clearing snow and ice from streets.
