Everett Police detectives de-brief after the search warrant

It took about 18 hours but Everett Police Major Crimes Unit Detectives have finished their search of a home at the north end of Martha Lake in unincorporated Snohomish County. Detectives went to the home early Friday afternoon with SWAT and tactical teams to serve a search warrant. Everett Police Spokesman Sgt. Ryan Dalberg said officers were taking appropriate care in serving the warrant and that’s why they were accompanied by SWAT. After arriving at the house, officers found there were people inside who were not willing to immediately come out and cooperate. Tactical teams spent the night convincing the people inside to come out. That happened early Saturday morning and officers completed their search of the home around 8:30am. There has been no official word on exactly what the detectives were looking for or what charges the people are facing. That may not come out until Tuesday. If there’s an update, we’ll pass it along.
