New National Commercial Icon Filming in Everett, WA Thursday

“The Messenger”, the latest commercial pitchman from the folks who brought you “Flo” at Progressive Insurance, is coming to Everett Thursday. Claudia McClain, who owns McClain Insurance in south Everett announced today that her agency has been chosen as the site for filming a new national online ad. “When we found out our agency was picked from tens-of-thousands of independent insurance agencies across the country, we were thrilled!” said McClain Insurance president, Claudia McClain. “While he’s in town, he’s using our office to film an online advertisement and he’s spreading his savings message to other unsuspecting folks in the area.”

“Random Acts of Savings” is the premise of Progressive’s new advertising campaign featuring a mysterious character named The Messenger. During his visit to Everett and Seattle, The Messenger will make random appearances at local businesses, saving people time and money when they least expect it.

No word whether “The Messenger” will be replacing the popular “Flo” in Progressive’s advertising. My Everett News will try to get a photo of the commercial shoot on Thursday.
