Everett City Council final public budget hearing is today at 12:30pm

So far the Everett City Council has held two public hearings on the proposed 2012 budget and no one has spoken up. Today’s the last chance as the third and final public hearing will happen at 12:30pm in the Council Chambers at 3002 Wetmore in downtown Everett. Everett Mayor Ray Stephanson proposed a balanced budget to the council on November 2nd. Here’s a link to his budget message. If you’re feeling particularly adventurous the city has posted the entire proposed 2012 budget here for your review. Once the public hearings have closed the city council will begin its debates and must approve the budget by the end of December.
