Everett Fire Department crews responded to the report of a house fire in the 2400 block of Walnut street at 1:39 a.m. this morning. Arriving crews found the vacant house fully involved in flames. Bystanders reported that the house had been vacant for quite a while. Crews initially attacked the fire from the outside and then proceeded inside to put out the final flames. A search for possible victims was conducted and none were found. The damage estimate is $250,000. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. There were no injuries during the incident.
