Monday night we reported on a suspect who had robbed the pharmacy at the Rite Aid at Everett Mall Way and Evergreen Way twice in the last two weeks. Tonight Everett police released pictures from the store’s surveillance cameras as well as the following press release…
The Everett Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect in two armed robberies that have occurred at the Rite Aid, 10103 Evergreen Way over the past two weeks. It is also believed that this person is a suspect in a third armed robbery just outside the city limits being investigated by the Snohomish County Sherriff’s Office.
On November 3, 2011, at about 7:00 p.m. the suspect entered the Rite Aid and after wandering around for a few minutes approached the pharmacy, displayed a firearm in his waistband and demanded OxyContin. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. A K-9 track was initiated but the suspect was not found.
On November 10, 2011, at about 7:45 p.m. the suspect entered the Albertsons store in the 500 block of 128th Street SW and implied he had a gun in his waistband and demanded OxyContin from the pharmacist.
On November 14, 2011, at about 7:15 p.m. it is believed that the same suspect entered the Rite Aid again and committed the third robbery this time drawing a handgun and pointing it at the employee demanding OxyContin. The suspect flees on foot however there is a possibility that the he got into a smaller white 4 door car and drove away.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his 20’s, 5’07” – 5’10”, 150 – 170 pounds. He also has a thin moustache. Several photos of the suspect have been attached to this press release for airing.
If anyone can identify this suspect they are asked to call 911 or the Everett Police Department TIP LINE at (425) 257 – 8450. Do not attempt to apprehend this suspect as he should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS.
