Four people are under arrest after an elderly Everett woman was robbed while unloading groceries in her garage last night. Snohomish County Sheriff’s Spokesman Kevin Prentiss provided My Everett News with the following release…On November 1, 2011 at approximately 8:20pm, Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a robbery complaint in the 12000 block of 31st DR SE, Everett. The victim, an adult female 69 years old, stated she was parked in her garage and unloading groceries when a male subject approached her and grabbed her shoulder bag from her person. The suspect ran down the street to a waiting vehicle. A description of the vehicle was obtained from the victim. The victim suffered no injuries during the robbery.

As the investigation progressed, deputies learned a subject had attempted to use the victim’s Visa card at a grocery store in the 12700 block of SR525, Mukilteo. The Visa card had been cancelled by the victim. Deputies responded to the grocery store and observed a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle seen leaving the robbery location. Four subjects were detained in the vehicle. Investigation at that location located items from the victim’s purse inside the suspect vehicle. Three adult males were arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail: Suspect #1- 21 years old, Bothell resident; Suspect #2- 21 years old, Everett resident; Suspect #3- 24 years old, Everett resident. A fourth suspect, a female 21 years old from Mukilteo, is also being charged with robbery. Their vehicle was impounded for an evidence search at a later time.
