Everett Firefighters Make Quick Work of Fire at Notorious House

October 15, 2011

Everett, Police Blotter

It only took Everett Firefighters about 15 minutes to put out a fire at an abandoned house at 3212 Rucker Ave. in central Everett this afternoon. If that address seems familiar, it’s the same place where there was a fire on August 29th. That fire was ruled arson and while Everett police were looking for whoever set the blaze they ended up shooting a pit bull that attacked officers.

You can see some of the debris from that fire still on the front lawn of the house. Fire investigators are on the scene this evening trying to determine the cause of the fire which they did term as suspicious. They did not yet have a damage estimate.
