It's Friday!

Some reminders for your Friday in Everett…

The Snohomish PUD is offering a free CFL Bulb exchange today at their headquarters at 2320 California Street in downtown Everett. You can exchange up to 5 incandescent bulbs for up to 5 CFLs in various shapes and styles while supplies last. The event runs from 11a – 1p.

The 35th annual Everett Sausage Festival gets underway today starting at 11am and continues thru Sunday. It’s a family oriented festival with food booths, carnival rides, games, live music and lots of sausage. You’ll find it at the Perpetual Help School Grounds at Everett and Cedar.

Spelldown: A Spelling Bee For Grown Ups, is set for the Everett Performing Arts Center tonight at 7:00pm. The event is a fund-raiser for library programs for kids and teens. More than two dozen teams will compete. Each team is made up of three spellers and there’s a buy back option so if teams are eliminated they can buy their way back into the competition. (it is a charity fund-raiser after all) Admission is free. The EPAC is at the corner of Wetmore and Everett Avenue in downtown Everett.
