Strand Hotel Fire Update 9:55am

Crews seem to have the fire at the Strand apartments in hand. There appear to be no reports of injuries but there is a lot of smoke and water damage. At this point no word on the cause of the fire or damage estimate. The fire was first reported at 10:10am. By the way Colby Avenue in downtown is expected to be blocked for a few hours.
