The first 787 to be delivered to launch customer All Nippon Airways is set to take off from Paine Field Everett this morning at 6:30am. You can see the first flight by clicking here. The question now becomes, when will the 787 program become profitable? Dominic Gates has a story in The Seattle Times this morning about that issue and what Boeing’s CEO has to say about the costs of the 787 and its future.
