Anti-PETA protesters mixed right in with the PETA protesters in downtown Everett
The annual performance of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus is at Comcast Arena Everett this weekend. Visitors going into the main entrance were greeted by members of PETA urging them to avoid the circus and not attend. There were however a small group of protesters mixed right in with the PETA crowd who had their own signs supporting the circus and arguing against PETA. Most of the protesters just waived their signs but a few were making cracks back and forth at each other. Everett Police have had to step in a couple of times today to keep everyone orderly but there have been no major problems.
The circus continues thru tomorrow. The protests and counter-protests likely will as well.
