Arrest Made in Arson of Everett Floral Shop

Got word a few minutes ago that Everett Police yesterday arrested a 15 year old boy in the fire at Everett Floral on August 6th. Everett Police detectives Mike Atwood and Jim Massingale arrested the boy after talking to witnesses and viewing surveillance video from area businesses. The teen reportedly confessed to burglarizing the business and setting the fire. He was booked into the Denny Youth Center. The fire caused approximately $200,000.00 in damage. The business was insured and the owners have vowed to reopen in October.
