Everett Silvertips Hockey Training Camp Starts Today
Training camp is officially underway
The ice is down and 70 players have checked in to start the 9th season for the Everett Silvertips. This is the first camp under new head hockey coach Mark Ferner. Players will undergo three days of rigorous on-ice sessions leading up to the annual “Green & Grey” intrasquad scrimmage game, which is set for 1:00 on Sunday afternoon. Training camp practices are set for 9:00 am and 2:30 pm today, Friday and Saturday. They are open to the public, with doors opening 15 minutes prior to each session. Fans are invited to enter through the main arena doors and sit in sections 118 and 119 to get a sneak peek at the 2011-12 Silvertips!
