Classic Boats, Cars and a Sock Hop on Everett’s Waterfront Today

The first ever Rudders and Wheels classic boat and car show happens today at the Waterfront Marina from 11am – 8pm. The public is invited to judge the boats and cars between 11am – 2pm with an awards presentation at 3pm. At 4pm the sock hop begins with dancing until 8pm. The event is free to the public. The boats and cars will be in and around the new waterfront center at the 12th street marina.

In addition to Rudders and Wheels, the 15th annual Fresh Paint celebration of artists in action is happening on the south pier between Lombardis and Anthony’s Home Port restaurants. Jetty Island Days continues with passenger only ferry service running from the 10th street marina. With sunshine and highs expected in the 80s it should be a great day to get down to Everett’s waterfront.
