Everett School District Primary Results – LeSense Leads Elbert and Larson

Voter turnout, 18.72%. Next vote count, 5pm tonight.
The early numbers are in from the primary election and of the 388,557 ballots mailed out to voters, only 72,719 have been returned. In the six way race for the only open seat on the Everett School board, Pam LeSense (4894 votes) holds a comfortable lead over Mary Ann Elbert (1690 votes) and Chris Larson (1411 votes). For the Snohomish County Council seat representing Everett, incumbent Brian Sullivan (7893 votes) looks to be facing Glen Sayes (2657 votes) in the General Election. For County Assessor, Chris Vallo (15,207 votes) is well behind incumbent Cindy Portmann (37,572 votes). In the race for Snohomish County Executive, Aaron Reardon (37,881 votes) looks to be well positioned for his third term as he faces challenger Mike Hope (33,815 votes). The primary election results will be certified in 14 days and then it’s onto the General Election November 6th.
