Initial Primary Election Numbers in for Everett Races

The primary results are coming in.

The Snohomish County Auditor’s Office has posted the first run of election results.
In the six way race for Everett School District…

Pam LeSense leads all candidates with 45.36% of the votes

Mary Ann Elbert is second with 15.67%, followed by Cris Larson with 13.05%

It appears incumbent Brian Sullivan (67.40%) will face Glen Sayes (22.68%) for the District 2 seat on the Snohomish County Council.

In the County Assessor race, incumbent Cindy Portmann (55.77%) has twice the votes of either of her challengers Chris Vallo (22.57) and Betty DeLay (19.79%)

In the beauty contest between County Executive Aaron Reardon and his challenger Mike Hope, Readron has a comfortable lead of 52.68% to 47.02%

Initial turn out was a bit disappointing at 18.7%. Because it is an all mail election, it will take a few more days to get all the outstanding ballots counted.
