Everett School Board Candidates…Today Six, Tomorrow Two

It's Primary Election Day

Today is the final day to make your vote count in the primary election. In Everett there are six candidates running for one position on the Everett School Board. The other truly contested race in Everett is who the challenger will be to face Brian Sullivan for the position that represents Everett on the Snohomish County Council. It’s more of a test case for Snohomish County Executive Aaron Reardon and his challenger Mike Hope. Both will be advancing to the general election in November. Cindy Portmann will find out who her challenger will be for County Assessor once today’s ballots are counted. If you haven’t voted yet, you need to mail your ballot today or you can drop if off in front of the County Campus on Wall Street in downtown Everett or in the drop box at McCollum Park on 128th street in South Everett. If you’ve mailed your ballot back in and want to make sure it has been received, you can click here to check. For those who may need assistance voting there are machines available at the Auditor’s office at the Snohomish County Administration building in Everett.
